BRIGHT Project Innovation Team (Estonia), aims to implement and validate an innovative, personalised risk-based approach to breast cancer prevention and screening, using a polygenic risk score testing combined with other genetic information identify women at higher genetic risk and enable earlier, more targeted interventions—ultimately reducing late-stage diagnoses and preventable deaths across European healthcare systems. Antegenes has received support from different EIT Health programs.
It has been especially rewarding to see that our innovations are being adopted into routine practice even by healthcare professionals outside the project, across different countries.
