Digistain (United Kingdom) is an AI-enabled tumour intelligence platform that uses routine tumour tissue to generate personalised risk information for cancer treatment decisions. Its first commercialised application supports chemotherapy decision-making for patients with HR+/HER2– early breast cancer, with the wider platform being developed for additional cancer types. Through the EIT Health Catapult and Open Innovation Programme, Digistain gained increased European visibility, strategic connections, mentorship and support for market access, including collaborations with healthcare and industry partners across Europe.
Beyond networking opportunities, EIT Health also provided Digistain with access to multidisciplinary mentorship and strategic guidance from experts across healthcare, industry and business. Through these interactions, the company gained valuable insights into market access, implementation strategies and healthcare system adoption pathways, further strengthening its commercial and clinical expansion strategy.
