On 2 June 2026, EIT Culture & Creativity will host its Creative Industries Forum at the EBAN Congress 2026 in Vilnius , the annual flagship event of the European Business Angels Network.

AI, automation and new IP infrastructures are transforming how creative value is produced and monetised. As a result, industries such as fashion, architecture, gaming, audiovisual media, and cultural heritage are becoming a core pillar of Europe’s industrial strategy, with growing relevance for economic and technological resilience across sectors.

Against this backdrop, EIT Culture & Creativity is proud to join the EBAN stage, marking an important step in positioning creative industries within Europe’s broader investment and innovation landscape.

This matters now more than ever: culture and creative tech are core to Europe’s innovation capacity, digital sovereignty and cultural resilience. Strengthening this ecosystem means reinforcing Europe’s capacity to innovate, scale and offer cultural and technological leadership globally.

Programme

The Forum will highlight the strategic investment case for creative tech and what it takes to scale it, exploring:

  • Scalable IP frameworks: How core IP can be licensed, replicated and deployed across markets without proportional cost increases, enabling value creation through scale and reuse.
  • Greater control over distribution: The extent to which companies own their distribution channels versus relying on third-party platforms, and the strategic implications of platform dependency.
  • Fair and sustainable monetisation layers: The diversity and resilience of revenue streams, including licensing, SaaS, platform-based services and data-driven models.
  • Cross-sector applications: How creative IP and products can extend beyond their original vertical, unlocking broader market and investment potential.

Join the event to hear insights from investors already backing creative tech ventures, discover leading startups from EIT Culture & Creativity’s 100-to-Watch portfolio: Artist Arena, MusicGurus, Sustein Materials and QX.
