Statement on EIT Manufacturing and Support for Beneficiaries

EIT Manufacturing: Claims process now open

Following the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings concerning EIT Manufacturing ASBL, a court-appointed liquidator has been designated to oversee the process. In case of any questions regarding the procedure please contact the liquidator, as the EIT is not part of the conduct of the liquidation process.

EIT Manufacturing ASBL filed for liquidation in March 2026, following irregularities identified by the EIT and investigated by OLAF. Beneficiaries of EIT Manufacturing ASBL were invited to submit their claims within two months (for organisations domiciled in France) or four months (for organisations domiciled outside France) from 15 April 2026.

Substantiated claims together with supporting documents should be submitted to the appointed liquidator: BASSE Christophe, 1 rue René Cassin, 91033 EVRY-COURCOURONNES, France. Claims must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. A follow-up by email to cd@lesmandataires.com is also recommended. In accordance with Article R.693-4 of the French Commercial Code, claims shall be filed in the French language or be accompanied by a translation into French.

While liabilities towards subgrantees rest with EIT Manufacturing ASBL, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) fully cooperates with the appointed judicial administrator responsible for the liquidation and financial settlements, in respect of applicable legal procedures.

The EIT remains committed to supporting innovation and skills in Europe’s manufacturing sector. We will keep the organisations concerned informed in a timely manner and provide information as soon as they are available to the EIT.

Organisations concerned may address questions or queries concerning the activities of the EIT at the following email address: beneficiarysupport[@]eit.europa.eu.
