OpenEU: Your entry point to European deeptech
OpenEU is a five-day international investor programme designed to connect investors from outside Europe with the European deeptech, innovation and investment ecosystem. Bpifrance and 28DIGITAL are joining forces to run it.
The first edition runs 23–27 November 2026 across Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, bringing a curated delegation of 12–15 senior international investors and corporate venture leaders through a week of curated meetings, deal flow, policy briefings and ecosystem connections.
OpenEU aims to make the European investment landscape more accessible by creating a curated pathway into Europe and connecting participants directly with relevant investors, startups, corporates, innovation organisations and policymakers.
The programme will combine curated meetings, investor exchanges, startup and scale-up deal flow, corporate engagement, roundtables, thematic discussions, ecosystem visits, policy exchanges and networking opportunities.
23–25 November – Paris
French and European deal flow, investors, corporates and innovation hubs. Curated 1:1 meetings, reverse pitches from investors and corporates, startup/scaleup showcases, deal-flow sessions, corporate and ecosystem visits, and an investor dinner.
Expected outcome
A qualified European deal pipeline and concrete co-investment / corporate partnership follow-ups.
26 November – Brussels
A focused introduction to the European institutional and policy environment: EU institutions, funding mechanisms, and how policy shapes AI, deeptech, industrial and transition markets.
Expected outcome
A practical understanding of the European policy environment and the stakeholders shaping technology markets.
27-28 November – Amsterdam
Engaging Dutch investors and corporate venture leaders in Amsterdam, exploring the AI and deeptech ecosystem in Eindhoven, and consolidating the relationships built earlier in the week into concrete next steps.
Expected outcome
New relationships and a broader European network for future collaboration.
OpenEU is built for a small group of international investors, venture capital funds, limited partners, corporate venture teams, and family offices, who want a direct, curated route into Europe's deeptech ecosystem.
