Igor Madjov is a Macedonian tech entrepreneur, angel investor and ecosystem builder with over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and executive education. His track record includes one exit, startup investments and active involvement in EBAN since 2023.
His passions are AI automation, investing and good food. Through Finqup and ClerkStation.ai, he helps organisations own their intelligence through sovereign AI that runs on their premises, protects privacy and keeps people in control.
As founder of NEST, he has helped founders across South-East Europe secure more than €38 million in early-stage funding since 2022. He has also led over 20 acceleration and investment-readiness programmes involving the EBRD, World Bank and Swisscontact, helping startups build stronger businesses and connect with international investors.
Previously, he worked with South Central Ventures and the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program to deploy venture capital and develop angel investment networks across the Western Balkans. A founding member of Startup Macedonia in 2016 and board president since 2024, he connects founders, investors, businesses and policymakers to strengthen the startup ecosystem.
Igor believes changemakers keep building when others stop. As a Changemaker jury member, he looks for people who challenge assumptions, turn ideas into action and improve the lives of others.
