Innovation Study Tours
Would you like to strengthen Europe’s digital innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem through global and immersive learning programmes?
28DIGITAL is launching a new Call for Proposals for Innovation Study Tours. The call invites universities, training providers, research organisations, innovation hubs, and business partners to design and implement short-term international study programmes focused on innovation ecosystems and deep-tech entrepreneurship.
Programme objectives and format
The proposed programmes should offer intensive 5–10 day experiences for students, professionals as well as young entrepreneurs combining visits to leading innovation actors, interactive workshops and cultural immersion. Innovation Study Tours are expected to take place between January and February 2027 and should be designed for a minimum of 15 participants.
Two available tracks
Two complementary tracks are possible:
- Global Exposure: where European participants explore leading innovation ecosystems outside Europe
- European Immersion: where international participants engage with European innovation ecosystems and frameworks
Eligibility and evaluation criteria
Proposals should demonstrate strong alignment with 28DIGITAL’s Strategic Innovation Agenda and one of its five strategic focus areas, should present a clear educational impact, operational capacity, and access to high-quality innovation ecosystems in Europe or beyond.
