Summer School Programmes 2026
Would you like to boost entrepreneurship and deep-tech education in Europe?
28DIGITAL is seeking to expand the portfolio of Summer School Programmes for 2026!
A new Call for Proposal opens up for training providers, universities, business, education and research organizations for the design and implementation of Summer Schools. The proposals should present a two-week training programme for Master students or young professionals who want to deep dive into emerging technologies, learn how to create new businesses or upskill their careers.
The programmes should be designed for a minimum capacity of 50 participants. A strong and impactful proposal should present alignment with 28DIGITAL’s Strategic Innovation Agenda and one of the five strategic focus areas, demonstrate entrepreneurial focus and be an easily accessible location in Europe, able to attract many participants.
What are Summer Schools?
Summer Schools are two-week programmes that aim to combine know-how in key digital technologies, societal and industrial applications with expertise in innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E). They are targeted towards students from the EIT Digital Master School as well as external participants. They expose participants to I&E concepts, facilitate student interactions with companies, industry professionals and experts as well as foster a community among various universities.
Who can apply?
Proposers must be or become partners of 28DIGITAL once selected. For organizations that are not yet partners please see partnership models for more information about joining 28DIGITAL. Eligible applicants include organizations from EU Member States and Horizon Europe-associated countries. At least one selected Summer School will take place in a RIS country
All proposals need to be formally submitted before the hard deadline on 19 January 2026, 5 p.m. CET (Brussels time).
