We are looking for a Communication Officer to join our headquarter in Budapest!
Tasks
- Communication campaigns: support the conceptualisation and execution of major communication campaigns, including for flagship events (e.g. EIT Awards, EIT Water, Education & Skills Days)
- Content development: draft news items and updates for the EIT website and social media channels; design visual materials for website and social media, presentations, and other communication assets
- Daily press and communications opportunity monitoring and archiving of press articles, interviews and media monitoring or relevant information
- Support: provide administrative, logistical and coordination support to the Communication Section, including liaising with the Publications Office on graphic and publication deliverables; supporting the planning and organisation of EIT meetings and events.
Requirements
Professional experience
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience in the field, or four years of experience if the completed university studies were shorter than four years
- Ability to demonstrate experience of above tasks through different professional experience
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in communications, or related discipline.
Qualification
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
Language skills
- Excellent command of the English language (at least C1 Level based on the Common Framework of Reference Languages).
IT Skills
Computer literacy and in particular excellent use of MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working hours
40 hours/week

- Experience in working for an EU Institution
- Project Management experience
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
